DOT Side Table – Eggshell

Dot expresses the elegance of minimalism through exceptional craftsmanship. The collection reinterprets the traditional Asian stool with a contemporary and restrained aesthetic, reduced to its purest form.

Each piece is handcrafted using a traditional lacquer technique, requiring between eighteen and twenty-one coats, meticulously sanded between each application to achieve remarkable depth and intensity. In the eggshell versions, duck egg fragments are carefully arranged by hand on a fresh layer of lacquer, forming a delicate mosaic. This artisanal process reveals a subtle, crackled pattern, rich in texture and nuance. After sanding, the surface is sealed beneath a final layer of clear lacquer, resulting in an exceptionally refined finish.
