This sculptural coffee table features a bisqued white grogged earthenware base whose architectural geometry is anchored by a generous bowl form at its centre. The interior is hand-gilded with 23-carat gold leaf, creating a radiant, reflective core that contrasts with the matte, mineral quality of the earthenware. Protected with a specialised invisible impregnation treatment, the ceramic retains its natural softness while ensuring durability.
The structure supports a circular tempered extra-white glass top, offering a clear view of the luminous gold interior and the intersecting planes beneath. Both functional and expressive, the piece stands as a contemporary artefact where clay, light, and gold converge in a refined sculptural presence.
