This porcelain biscuit light sculpture is composed of finely hand-applied, petal-like relief elements that flow gently around its spherical form. When illuminated, the thin porcelain reveals a warm, glowing translucency, casting intricate shadows that echo its delicate pattern and creating an atmosphere of quiet radiance. When unlit, its matte white surface offers a serene, sculptural presence. The piece rests on a wheel-thrown stoneware base finished with a deep night-blue glaze, whose reflective surface enhances the play of light and adds a striking contrast to the porcelain’s purity. Together, they form a luminous, poetic object that transforms both light and material into a mesmerising composition.
