This sculptural pedestal side table table is crafted from bisqued red grogged earthenware, its vertical structure encircling a central spherical form. The inner faces of the uprights are hand-finished with 23-carat gold leaf, while the ceramic surfaces are burnished with beeswax to enhance the warm, tactile quality of the clay.
The interplay between the matte red earthenware and the luminous gold creates a striking sense of depth and contrast. Both functional and sculptural, the piece embodies architectural balance, refined craftsmanship, and the quiet radiance of noble materials.
