Sculpture formed from red and white grogged earthenwares, their naturally layered clays creating a flowing marbled pattern across the surface. The sphere is then gilded with 23-carat gold leaf, which settles into the contours of the clay and catches the light with soft, shifting reflections. The contrast between matte earthenware and luminous gold gives the piece a celestial presence, highlighting the artist’s interplay between raw materiality and refined finish.
