This porcelain biscuit light sculpture is composed of finely hand-applied, petal-like relief elements that gently ripple around its spherical form. When illuminated, the thin porcelain reveals a warm, glowing translucency, casting delicate patterned shadows that animate its textured surface. When unlit, its matte white presence remains serene and sculptural. The piece is anchored on a wheel-thrown plinth in natural grogged sand stoneware, whose soft, mineral tone harmonises subtly with the porcelain’s purity. Together, they create a refined, atmospheric object where materiality, craftsmanship, and light come together in quiet poetic balance.
